BEONDEGI

Popular food in Korea Cuisine. Beondegi are steamed or boiled silkworm pupa which are seasoned and eaten as a snack. Beondegi are often served by street vendors as well in restaurant. They also sold in cans in grocery stores and convenience stores. But it has to boiled in water first before can be served. Its kind of popular snacks in Korea within its citizen. It tastes like a crunchy nuts inside when bitten, and had the unique flavor. Some wonder if this Beondegi were sold in Korea and replace popcorn popularity over there?
